Lovely weekend in York in fantastic accommodation close to everything. Positive: Everything lovely apartment in a perfect location Negative: Nothing

We had a great stay at Ryedale House and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere great to stay in Yor Positive: Position , facilities, cleanliness and parking Negative: Minor point regarding requiring hanging clothes facilities in the main bedroom

Poor start but a nice apartment Positive: Location Spacious, comfortable property Negative: We hadn't received the necessary information concerning check in. Booking.com had wrongly stated that 24 hour check in was available. This is not the case. A kind resident let us in - she told us this had happened before. I phoned the emergency number on the unmanned desk and spoke to a rude man who was, nonetheless efficient. He contacted the owners who then belatedly sent us the information we needed to open the lock box and get the key. Booking.com also wrongly stated that the apartment has a balcony - it doesn't.
