The Macadamia at Ryedale House

Komfortable Wohnung mit fehlender Sauberkeit Positive: Sehr schön ausgestattetes Appartement. Groß, hell, ausreichend Stauraum! 3 Bäder/WC, 2 davon mit Stauraum!!! Schöne Küche, alles da, was man braucht. Genug Geschirr für 4 Personen. Alles sehr schön eingerichtet! Gute, verkehrsgünstige Lage! Ein paar Garderobenhaken wären noch sinnvoll. Negative: Laut Beschreibung 2 große Doppelbetten, die bei booking.com mit 181-210 cm angegeben. In der Realität waren die "großen Doppelbetten" nur 140 cm breit (und nur 190 lang). Sehr ärgerlich wenn man solch enge Betten nicht gewohnt ist. Wir hatten das Appartement genau deshalb, wegen der angegebenen Bettbreite, gebucht!!! Außerdem war die Wohnung sehr eingestaubt. Selbst das Geschirr im Schrank war schmutzig bzw. mit einer Staubschicht überzogen. Unter Couch und Bett lag noch Schmutz bzw. Müll vom Vorgänger. Geht gar nicht!!!!

Positive: central location very comfortable accommodation

Incredibly comfortable apartment located so close to the places of interest in York. Positive: The location was fantastic for ease of access to places such as The Shambles. The apartment was very roomy and comfortable for the 3 of us. When we had the windows closed it was very quiet and no street noise could be heard at all. We would stay again Negative: Just a couple of small things, there had been some dirty cutlery put in to the draw and the shower gel had not been filled up in one of the room, but we did have our own soap so this wasn’t a huge deal to us.

Positive: The location at Ryedale House was great for the centre of York. A short walk to the Christmas Market and shops. The apartment was clean and spacious We had an issue with the heater in one of the bedrooms and were able to message, and it was sorted out very promptly. Ww really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Macadamia Negative: The duvet in one of the bedrooms was of poor quality (compared to the duvet in the bedroom with an ensuite bath) The instructions for recycling were confusing, and we were unable to use the facilities for recycling as out of order. A pint of milk in the fridge would have been appreciated The microwave was on the floor in the boiler room, and so unsure if this was broken. Coat hooks needed in the cupboard in the hall The heating was set so we were unable to adjust the settings it was particularly cold.
