The Noir Blanc Retreat

Positive: Excellent location

Lovely home base in York Positive: The apartment building is very conveniently located with a bus stop right in front and loads of restaurants to choose from. It is also minutes away from some major attractions. Loved the decorations and it feels very homey. We stayed here for a week while prepping for our wedding, and it definitely served as a great home base. Negative: The hand wash was completely empty for the other bathroom so we had to buy our own. There was also no refill toilet paper or kitchen towels - they're just small little details that could be improved on. Car park was difficult to enter if driving alone, as no remote was provided, and you had to manually open the door and then run to your car to enter, hoping the door does not close in the meantime...

Fantastic! Will return! Positive: Excellent location for city centre. Exceptionally clean & modern. Beds were so comfortable! Negative: This is not a criticism as our stay was absolutely fabulous but it could do with a larger sofa for 4 gusts - but the chairs were very comfortable so wasn’t a problem!

Would stay again Positive: Excellent location. Good communication through WhatsApp with Joe. Comfy bed. Mostly clean. Spacious and quiet. Negative: A bit of a mess about when you first get there with all the codes, but once you get the hang of it, it's fine.

Great location. Would recommend staying at The Noir Blanc retreat Ryedale House Positive: Great location, the facilities are modern and spacious (except for bathrooms) Negative: Unfortunately we arrived and the apartment hadn’t been serviced after previous guests. The property manager did action it quite quickly however we had leave for over an hour for them to clean and no compensation was offered or given.
